Hey, it is Matt from The Lead Generation Newsletter.
I am emailing you a one-minute idea to help you generate more leads.
The topic of this newsletter is maximizing time spent with your audience to build trust and drive conversions.
Problem
I am going to go out on a limb and say that the more time you spend with someone, the more you trust them. That doesn't seem like a hot take or anything. You would obviously trust someone more if you spent 100+ hours with them in comparison to if you just met them 10 seconds ago, right?
That is very easy to understand in general, but for some reason, people do not apply the same logic with their content for their business.
The main problem that people have with their bottom of funnel is that they think about it in the exact opposite way. Almost all of their content and conversion mechanisms are short-form. That is the opposite of what we need at this stage in the funnel.
Let's assume someone needs to "spend" 10 hours with us to feel comfortable buying. If each piece of content is two minutes long, they have to consume 300 pieces of content to feel comfortable. What are the chances of this? Basically none.
Do you see the problem?
Implementation
We need to build systems to allow us to maximize watch time in a consistent and repeatable manner. Here is what you should do:
Launch a 60-180 minute weekly live webinar
Write long-form deep dive newsletters (1,200+ words) that push them to watch long-form videos and podcasts
Build an active community with daily posts and a 10-hour free video course
Have your appointment setter push them to watch long-form videos and podcasts
Create YouTube videos that are around 60 minutes in length
Produce deep dives, audits, and demonstrations on how you build/do X, Y and Z
Develop case studies that showcase your work
Get on podcasts that build authority with people in your target market
Host your own podcast with a repeatable theme
Try and get on other niche related podcasts
When you have these assets in your bottom of funnel, you become a conversion-machine. A lot of these systems are one-time builds, and once you have them online, you can delegate, and reduce the time you actively have to spend on them.
It really is that simple when you view the strategy in the correct way. You will notice a tremendous difference.
Hope you find this useful,
Matt
